I have this wall shelf in my kitchen with special objects on it. This was my grandpa Jims camera & chess pieces that he made, it also includes the last polaroid my mom shot of us eating jello pie, I was 19-It's a happy pie pic.

I was showing my brother the newest painting after diner today. He is visiting from california. We were talking about The repetitive fractal pattern and how the crisp straight lines and color are a theme in my work. I mentioned the cellular grid formula wich Is used to create my pieces and just than ,he pulls out a sketch of the same idea and that he too has been drawing These patterns. I thought it was cool that we were drawing the same things even though we live far away from eachother and don't speak about our art or music much.
