I used to think the picture of the American Ninja poster was really cool. I was excited to tell everyone I knew that my parents shot it. I used to be proud and even took pictures copying there compulsive film wasting and contrasty style. I was stuck and wanted them to be here for me. I had a picture of there studio and the receipt for the giant flag prop rental....I even went back to the location of there studio 2 months ago on LaBrea and looked around. I had things, not them. I love them but they're not here. I attached myself to old film.-------------- Then instantly last week  I experienced a health shift.
I threw away all bad pictures & most of my dead family's belongings on earth.
It was hard but I kept doing it from the hoarded up storage unit.
It feels good to think...what photographs can I take as a living human in the future right now?
That is freedom to experience my own future
There is always the option of freedom
It's scary to not have the comfort of shooting "kupersmith style" or stock photo style like mom tought me.  But it's nice to make room for my life and my own style now. Supersmith.

I love not having a lot of stuff and appreciating a few really cool things.
& That preference is unique to me not mom. She's dead and the time is NOW--
